1) a laptop or a normal computer (not a tablet)

2) headphones and microphone that you can buy everywhere for only a few pounds.

If you haven't yet, you must download and install on your personal computer the

"Skype software for p.c." from here: http://www.skype.com.

Then, create and set up your personal account, choosing ID and password and you are ready

to start Italian lessons via Skype with your Italian tutor.

HOW ITALIAN LESSONS VIA SKYPE WORK?

Nothing is easier or safer than Italian lessons via Skype.

I offer a first "Skype meeting" to every student, before starting any kind of Italian lessons via Skype, in order to assess his/her level of proficiency as a speaker of Italian and understand his/her aims and purposes in attending Italian lessons via Skype.

During this meeting your Italian tutor also adjusts "Skype settings" and test the connection's functionality. If you are not familiar with Skype technology your Italian tutor will train you, teaching everything you need to know to enjoy your Italian lessons via Skype comfortably from home.

This session lasts about 20 minutes and it is completely free of charge for you.

I prepare your Italian lessons via Skype in advance (tailored on your purposes, needs and skills) and I send you your Italian lessons via Skype paperwork and stuff via email at least a couple of days before the arranged lesson in order to allow you to print off everything. This way, you have the opportunity to have a look at your Italian lessons via Skype in advance.

During the Italian lessons via Skype you follow your Italian tutor's writing, seeing her on your computer and listening to her voice. So, in your Italian lessons via Skype you do grammar exercises, you read texts and you practice your speaking with conversation exercises exactly like in normal face-to-face Italian lessons.

I often share my computer screen with you in order to watch some Italian lessons videos together and listen to some Italian audio tracks.

ITALIAN LESSONS VIA SKYPE PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS

You will be asked to pay monthly, in advance your Italian lessons via Skype.

If you struggle to pay monthly your Italian tutor can accept payment lesson by lesson but in this case you will be asked to pay the Italian lessons in advance.

I won't run my Italian lessons via Skype if I can't see your payment in my account before the lesson.

If you can not attend your Italian lessons via Skype, please advice 24 hours in advance and I will offer you to re-arrange your Italian lessons for another day. If you miss your Italian lessons via Skype and you haven't canceled them in advance no refund will be offered.

Most of my distant students pay their Italian lessons via Skype via bank transfers but I also accept cheques and pay-pal.

If you pay your Italian lessons via Skype via pay-pal you will have to pay an extra 5% of paypal fees on top of the total amount.
